LVLcaster 2.0

An LVL is a “laminated veneer lumber” beam, used in mainly home building for major structural components. The body of this classic shaped guitar is constructed from the remaining piece of an LVL that a local construction company installed in a local home. It has a comfort carve arm contour and has been sanded just enough to keep you from getting a sliver, but still appreciate the lumber texture. We even left the footage mark on the back! This was taken from a 24′ beam. The neck is a Fender licensed 21 fret maple neck with maple fretboard. Wilkinson hardware, Bootstrap “Palo Duro” pickups and blue tortoise shell pickguard. Finish is nitrocellulose lacquer.
